Mbappé Double Gives Real Madrid 2–1 Clásico Victory at Barcelona

Mbappé reaches a century of Madrid goals in Clásico win

Kylian Mbappé scored both goals as Real Madrid defeated Barcelona 2–1 at Camp Nou on Sunday, October 25, securing the first Clásico of the season with a late winner. The match finished on Monday morning, October 26, Philippine time.

Mbappé put Madrid ahead before halftime, Raphinha equalised after the break, and the France forward struck again in the closing minutes. His second goal also took him to 100 goals for Real Madrid, a milestone the club confirmed after the match.

The opening goal arrived in the 41st minute after a move involving Yan Diomande. Gerard Martín's attempted clearance deflected the ball onto Mbappé, allowing the visitors to turn their first-half attacking threat into a lead.

Barcelona responded in the second half through Raphinha. The equaliser restored the possibility of a home victory, while Andriy Lunin later made an important save from a Gerard Martín header to keep Madrid level.

The decisive move involved Jude Bellingham, Arda Güler and Eduardo Camavinga. Camavinga supplied the final pass for Mbappé, whose close-range finish settled the contest. Madrid then protected the advantage through the remaining minutes.

The result rewarded Madrid's ability to create openings in transition while surviving Barcelona's stronger periods after halftime. It was a narrow scoreline, and the home side's equaliser meant the visitors still needed a late attacking move to take all three points.

Mbappé reached his 100-goal milestone in his 116th appearance for the club, according to Madrid's published breakdown. His total comprises 67 goals in La Liga, 25 in the Champions League and eight across other competitions. The two goals at Camp Nou therefore delivered both an individual landmark and a significant league victory.
